The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Patrik Skoog Music

Email: privacy@patrikskoogmusic.com
2. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you visit the site, technical data is processed automatically, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, the referring page and the time of the request. This is necessary to deliver the website reliably and securely. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in operating a functioning website).
3. Contact and order request forms
If you submit one of the request forms on this website, we process the information you enter. Depending on the form, this may include your name or artist name, your email address, the services you are interested in, the number of tracks, genre, timeline, budget, links to your music, and any free-text details you choose to share.
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and to prepare or perform a contract with you — for example, to reply with a quote or an offer. We do not use it to send you unsolicited marketing. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract), and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for general enquiries.
Form submissions are delivered to us by email using Resend (Resend, Inc., USA), acting as a processor on our behalf. We retain your enquiry for as long as needed to handle it and thereafter for the periods required by statutory retention obligations.
4. Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address in order to send it. This is done using MailerLite as a processor on our behalf. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent). You can withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter, or by emailing privacy@patrikskoogmusic.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
5. Meta Pixel
This website uses the Meta Pixel, a service provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland. The pixel can store information on your device and transmit data to Meta, including your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you view, and events such as submitting a request form (including the estimated value of the order). Meta may link this data to your Facebook or Instagram account if you have one.
The pixel loads automatically when you open a page on this website. We use it only to measure and optimise our advertising on Meta platforms — we do not use it to build profiles for any other purpose. Data may be transferred to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the United States on the basis of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses.
If you do not want this, you can prevent the pixel from loading at any time using your browser settings or a content blocker, and you can object to the use of your data for advertising purposes in your Meta ad settings. Further information is available in Meta’s Privacy Policy.
6. Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics (Vercel Inc., USA) to understand aggregate traffic to this website. It is designed to work without cookies and without identifying individual visitors. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in understanding how our website is used).
7. Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Some of the providers named above are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
8. Your rights
You have the right to request access to your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), to have it corrected (Art. 16) or erased (Art. 17), to restrict processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time (Art. 7(3)).
To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@patrikskoogmusic.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website or to the services we use. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
